Refund and Returns Policy

1. Overview & Eligibility

Our policy remains valid for 7 days from the date of delivery or installation. If 7 days have passed, we unfortunately cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The air conditioning unit must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition that you received it.
  • It must be in the original, unopened packaging with all seals intact.
  • Note: Once a unit has been installed or the box has been opened, it is no longer considered “New” and may only be eligible for warranty claims rather than a standard return.

2. Installation Services

  • Service Fees: Costs associated with installation, site surveys, or specialized labor are non-refundable once the service has been performed.
  • Rescheduling: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling of installation appointments to avoid a processing fee.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards
  • Consumables: Copper piping, insulation tape, or refrigerant gas used during a specific installation.
  • Customized brackets or modified housing built for your specific site.

4. Damaged or Defective Items (Exchanges)

We only replace units if they are defective from the factory or damaged during transit by our team.

  • Pre-Installation Check: We highly recommend inspecting the unit for any physical damage before the technician begins the installation.
  • If you find a defect, please email us immediately at hello@aconland.com.my with photos of the damage.

5. Partial Refunds

In certain situations, only partial refunds are granted (at the company’s discretion):

  • Any unit not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Units that were opened but never installed (subject to a restocking fee).
  • Any item returned more than 7 days after delivery.

6. The Refund Process

  1. Inspection: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
  2. Approval: If approved, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7–14 business days.
  3. Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Items purchased under “Clearance” or “Flash Sales” are final sale.

7. Shipping & Logistics

To return your product, please mail or deliver it to:

  • Shipping Costs: You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the unit. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Deductions: If you receive a refund, the original cost of delivery and/or the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your total.
  • Insurance: Because air conditioners are high-value, heavy items, we strictly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.
